Revolution 1.0 Wheelchairs

The ROWHEELS Revolution 1.0 is the first and only wheelchair specifically designed from the ground up to work with ROWHEELS patented technology. More importantly, we took our pull propulsion technology and implemented into a budget-friendly wheelset and foldable frame while still maintaining all the features you expect from a lightweight chair!

Pulling Explained

The main problem with traditional wheelchair pushing is that it relies mainly on two smaller muscles groups.  Over time these muscles frequently become overused and tighten, pulling the shoulder joint forward into an unstable position, this makes the shoulder joint prone to injury and pain.

When using the ROWHEELS you pull on the hand-rims to go forward. This pulling action uses more capable muscles in your upper back and shoulders resulting in a reduced risk of shoulder-related injuries, over time the ROWHEELS pulling action will actually help strengthen your upper-body.

Braking Explained

ROWHEELS products have an assisted braking system made possible because the wheel and the hand-rim are not directly connected.  By simply pushing the hand-rim towards your body you engage the brake pads against the braking surface on the rim of the wheel.

Wrist Action Explained

All ROWHEELS wheel products come with oval hand-rims which have been shown to help reduce hand and wrist pain. For users with reduced or no grip, we also offer Q-grip and projections. Q-Grip  – uses an exclusive anti-slip, latex-free, neoprene coating for improved grip and control. They are ideal for anyone who prefers the feel and functionality of a fully-coated hand-rim. Research shows the Q-Grip to be 59.1% more grippy than a vinyl hand-rim.

Revolution 1.0

The ROWHEELS Revolution 1.0 is a foldable lightweight chair that will allow you to quickly perform your daily tasks without the weight of your wheelchair holding you back. ROWHEELS Revolution 1.0 chairs are easily portable, which makes them ideal for those who travel.
